Crispy on the outside, packed with flavour on the inside and almost impossible to stop at just one — few snacks are as loved across India as the samosa.

From evening chai breaks and office meetings to college canteens, house parties and family celebrations, samosas have been part of our everyday food culture for generations.

And every year on September 5, World Samosa Day gives us one more reason to celebrate India’s favourite snack.

For us at Samosa Party, it is an especially important day.

Because everything started with the samosa.

Why Do We Love Samosas So Much?

Ask ten people about their favourite samosa memory and you will probably get ten different answers.

For some, it is a piping-hot aloo samosa with green chutney on a rainy evening.

For others, it is a plate of samosa chaat, loaded with chutneys and toppings.

Then there is the classic combination that never really needs an introduction:

Hot samosa and chai.

The beauty of the samosa is its simplicity. A crisp exterior, a flavourful filling and the perfect mix of spice, texture and comfort in every bite.

It can be an evening snack, a quick bite between meetings, a party starter or an entire craving by itself.

Maybe that is why people are constantly searching for the best samosa near me.

Samosas Are Where Samosa Party Began

At Samosa Party, we have always believed that something as loved as the samosa deserves to be served fresh, consistently and conveniently.

What began with samosas has today grown into cafés serving customers across cities including Bengaluru, Delhi NCR, Hyderabad and Chennai.

Our menu has expanded over the years, but samosas continue to remain at the heart of what we do.

From classic favourites to different veg and non-veg samosas, buckets made for sharing and samosa-based chaats, there is a samosa for almost every kind of craving.

Whether you're looking for a samosa near you, ordering samosas for the office, planning snacks for a get-together or simply looking for something to go with your chai, the goal remains the same:

A hot, crispy and satisfying samosa whenever the craving hits.

The Perfect Samosa and Chai Break

Some food combinations simply belong together.

And samosa and chai might be one of India's best.

The crunch of a fresh samosa followed by a sip of hot chai is a combination that works at almost any time of the day.

It is also one of those food rituals that brings people together.

A meeting becomes a little easier with samosas on the table.

Friends suddenly stay a little longer when another plate arrives.

And ordering one extra samosa somehow always feels like the right decision.

That spirit of eating and sharing is what World Samosa Day is really about for us.

World Samosa Day 2026 at Samosa Party

This World Samosa Day, September 5, 2026, we are celebrating the food that started our journey.

But this year, we also wanted the celebration to go beyond simply eating more samosas.

So we are starting an initiative called:

A Samosa Party Worth Sharing

Starting this World Samosa Day, customers visiting participating Samosa Party cafés will have the option to make a small voluntary contribution.

It can be 5, 10, 20 or any amount they choose.

Contributing is completely optional.

And whatever our customers contribute, Samosa Party will match it.

These contributions will be collected until the next World Samosa Day on September 5, 2027, and the amount will be used to support people and communities where it can make a meaningful difference.

We will also share updates along the way so everyone who participates can follow the journey.

Celebrate World Samosa Day With Samosa Party

There are plenty of ways to celebrate World Samosa Day.

Find your nearest Samosa Party café and grab a hot samosa.

Order a samosa and chai for your evening break.

Get a samosa bucket for the office.

Share samosas with friends or family.

Turn your favourite samosa into a plate of chaat.

Or simply order the samosa you've been craving.

Whether you dine in, take away or order samosa delivery, September 5 is the perfect excuse to celebrate one of India's most loved foods.

Because trends change.

Menus change.

Cravings change.

But somehow, there is always room for a samosa.

Happy World Samosa Day 2026!

To everyone who has ever searched for a “samosa near me” and found Samosa Party, shared one of our samosa buckets with friends, paired a samosa with chai or made us part of a celebration — thank you.

Samosas started our story.

And this World Samosa Day, we're celebrating them the way they deserve.

Hot. Crispy. Shared.

Happy World Samosa Day from Samosa Party.
